Who Is BDI Global?
About Us
BDI Global, LLC is a Chicago, IL based program administrator founded in 2012 by a small team of cyber risk insurance underwriters, brokers, and claims handling specialists. We formed BDI with the singular purpose of developing cyber risk insurance programs and services for small and medium-sized enterprises (“SMEs”) as well as middle market programs.
Prior to the introduction of our programs, cyber risk insurance policies built around an organization's unique exposures were only available to Fortune 1000 companies with the resources to customize their own cyber risk insurance coverage.
We believe that all policyholders are entitled to cyber risk insurance coverage designed for the exposures of their business, so we began developing cyber risk insurance coverage and services SMEs in a handful of select industries including law firms.

Our team has years of experience manuscripting policy language for insureds. This includes endorsement programs, excess cyber insurance programs and stand alone insurance policies. Full limits or with sub-limits, we can create the policy for you.

We have developed relationships with specialty retailers, program administrators and the largest wholesale brokers in the world to help distribute our insurance products. Whether you use our distribution or your own, we can help educate and train your partners to sell.
SERVICE BUNDLE
Cyber insurance requires a specialized service bundle to handle pre and post breach claims. Our established incident response process is cost effective yet quick to respond to incidents before it spirals out of control.
